Magboxs Principles

Magboxs has been designed to:

• Give providers a simple, cost- effective communication utility to maintain contact with their customers.
• Give customers a magazine box that contains all their self- selected opt- in provider communications

The information that you share with Magboxs is controlled by you . The personal information that you share with Magboxs is restricted to default privacy setting limits. The only personal information shared with your providers is the information already known to them, including your surname, name and email address. This information allows them to access you through the Magboxs provider utility.

Magboxs adheres to the following principles for Customers:
A limit is placed on the personal information shared with your providers.
You can choose the providers you want to receive information from.
You should have convenient easy access to the information that your provider wants to share with you.
The information shared by your provider is controlled by you subscribing to the information. This subscription can be terminated at any time by you.

Magboxs adheres to the following principles for Providers:
Your customers have opted in to receive communication from you, the provider.
This communication is controlled by you, the provider, and the content is not related to Magboxs.
The provider is responsible for the nature of the communication.
The nature of the communication is governed by Magboxs Terms of Use

Magboxs takes your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our privacy policy.

How Magboxs Uses Your Personal Information

Magboxs is an opt- in utility for both providers and customers.
Providers sign up with magboxs and the information they supply is available to all subscribed members.
Customers sign up with the following compulsory information, full name, email address, gender and date of birth. Customers have the option of completing their profile to assist magboxs in channeling information and communication to them that is appropriate to their interests and needs.
This policy covers how Magboxs treats customer information that it collects and receives. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.

This privacy policy only applies to Magboxs
This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Magboxs does not own or control, or to people that Magboxs does not employ or manage. Any links to other websites that are accessed from Magboxs are governed by the privacy policy of the website that you are visiting, not by this privacy policy.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
General
Magboxs collects personal information when you register with Magboxs, and when you visit Magboxs pages. Magboxs may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies.
When you register we ask for information such as your name, email address, birth date, gender, ZIP code, occupation, industry, and personal interests. When you register with Magboxs and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.
Magboxs collects information about your transactions with us.
Magboxs automatically receives and records information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, Magboxs cookie information, software and hardware attributes, and the page you request.
Magboxs uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.

Children Under Age 13
Magboxs does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for Magboxs or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to or on Magboxs. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at marketing@magboxs.com. Magboxs does not contact children under age 13 about special offers or for marketing purposes without a parent's permission.

INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
Magboxs does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with Magboxs under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help Magboxs communicate with you about offers from Magboxs and our marketing partners. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.
We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Magboxs terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
We transfer information about you if Magboxs is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Magboxs will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Magboxs displays targeted advertisements based on personal information. Advertisers (including ad serving companies) may assume that people who interact with, view, or click targeted ads meet the targeting criteria—for example, women ages 18-24 from a particular geographic area.
Magboxs does not provide any personal information to the advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted ad. However, by interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad.
Magboxs advertisers include financial service providers (such as banks, insurance agents, stock brokers and mortgage lenders) and non-financial companies (such as stores, airlines, and software companies).
 
COOKIES
Magboxs may set and access Magboxs cookieson your computer.
Magboxs lets other companies that show advertisements on some of our pages set and access their cookies on your computer. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to Magboxs cookies.
Magboxs uses web beacons to access magboxs cookies inside and outside our network of web sites and in connection with Magboxs products and services.
Third Party Advertising
Advertisements that appear on Magboxs are sometimes delivered (or "served") directly to users by third party advertisers. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. These third party advertisers may also download cookies to your computer, or use other technologies such as JavaScript and "web beacons" (also known as "1x1 gifs") to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. Doing this allows the advertising network to recognize your computer each time they send you an advertisement in order to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. In this way, they may compile information about where individuals using your computer or browser saw their advertisements and determine which advertisements are clicked. Magboxs does not have access to or control of the cookies that may be placed by the third party advertisers. Third party advertisers have no access to your contact information stored on Magboxs unless you choose to share it with them.
This privacy policy covers the use of cookies by Magboxs and does not cover the use of cookies or other tracking technologies by any of its advertisers.

Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences 
You can edit your Magboxs Account Information at any time.
We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the Magboxs service, such as service announcements, administrative messages and the Magboxs Newsletters, that are considered part of your Magboxs account, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.
You can unsubscribe from your Magboxs account by visiting your My Account page and click unsubscribe. Information may possibly remain in our archived records after your account has been deleted.
 
CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY
We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs. We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you.
 
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
Magboxs may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Magboxs account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
